Don't redeem the code in the Bethesda web shopping cart, that won't work. You can redeem it in the launcher, but there is also a way to redeem it online, I just can't find it right now.

I take it that this code only works in Bethesda's store?

Daaaaamn, and to think I bought it four days ago... Well, it's not like I spent my life savings or a month's salary on it, but that's frustrating nonetheless. Now I'll have to play to get my nerves off that.
And yes, it looks like it only works for the Bethesda shop to me, but I might be wrong.

Apparently you can download it through the bethesda launcher, then uninstall the launcher and run the game through OpenMW instead.

With this free copy I now have... like... five copies of the game... Steam, GOG, Disc, Bethesda and I have it on Android (not sure if that counts as another copy though) still, can never have too many copies or installs of this game... just need to find more ways to buy it... maybe I shall get the anthology next. The disc version I have is old and is going to be framed, so that sounds like the best bet.
