Seriously though, when I read the topic I was like "seriously?", but it's actually qute... good. Not the audio quality or voice of course, but you nailed the melody really well and the lyrics are good as well.

Ask Linus how to pronounce Linux, let alone his name. Some Americans have a problem that Linux is not Lie-nix, even if the rules of AE dictate that it should be pronounced that way. RP (BE) is more ambiguous. Linus from Peanuts (Charlie Brown) is Lie-nus, but Finnish didn't have the vowel shift that English did and is sounds like "Len-us". The point is, just because you are used to something, that other people do it, doesn't make it right.
Re: Proposal for Theme Song
On that note, I'm also annoyed by people pronouncing TeX as Tech (like in technology). Though I guess it doesn't really matter how you pronounce things as long as people understand you; just make sure you don't mispronounce "poisson" in a French restaurant.
EDIT: Speaking of it...

Re: Proposal for Theme Song
I'm happy to pronounce LaTeX not the same as latex.
Re: Proposal for Theme Song
I'm sure naming LaTeX like latex seemed clever at first, but now when I try to google something like "LaTeX colors" I get... not exactly what I was looking for (search results NSFW). Wine has a similar problem in that it gives you all sorts of results related to actual wine. There should be a rule never to allow "clever" names for any software project.
As far as I'm concerned, if you can pronounce the H in a world like "Hotel" you should also be able to pronounce TeX as "TeH".sirherrbatka wrote: Some can't say tech like in polish so tek stickked.
