And to stay on topic, Ed's previous Ubuntu Gamer post is what got me here,
which I'm a bit reluctant to admit, since I have been tracking the progress of various open source projects and Morrowind mods and I've been hanging out at the DungeonHack forums and all three Morrowind engine recreation projects slipped under my radar all these years...
