Personally, I also don't like the 3d look of the titles. And the colour really doesn't fit that easily with the background. I preferred the older version.

Removed all 3d elements ever. How does it look now?

I preferred the light (white?) background for the titles. The black is quite dark.

The orange for the link is a little bit too flashy.
Except this, it's nice.
