Re: Object shaders - far too bright!
I should add that with my new installation I have a fresh ini so that doesnt seem to be the problem in my case. This is how the game looks at night for me: http://i.imgur.com/KWFiHDC.jpg I had MGEXE installed previously, maybe there are some registry keys or something I have to remove? Help would be...

Re: Object shaders - far too bright!
So what was the fix for this problem please? I made a new install of MW and OMW but still my game is far to bright and shines in orange light, even at night. Strangely the game also looks bad when I disable shaders wich causes everything to be very flat: http://i.imgur.com/zmpIgK2.jpg - with shaders...

Re: Grass with Alpha Blending
Thank you very much for these informations! I wasnt aware of those technical limitations. Did I understand correctly that the problems with overlapping alphas when using blending in MW is actually not an engine limitation, but is generally a problem of alpha blending? Will our alpha-blending texture...

Grass with Alpha Blending
Will it be possible to have grass in OpenMW wich uses Alpha Blending for the textures, instead of the Alpha Testing that MGE uses? I like to have slightly transparent grass for my texture replacer less game: http://i.imgur.com/M9141A2.jpg http://i.imgur.com/yhdL8C1.jpg http://i.imgur.com/I8hvnYj.jpg...

Re: Art assets
I thought so. You are on Bethesda forums right? If you decide to use them pls get in touch with me so I can add bump maps and stuff, and change the alpha settings of the plant since the problem with overlapping alphas does not exist in OpenMW anymore.Greendogo wrote:I'm not sure if we'll need them yet.
Thanks.

Re: Art assets
Someone suggested I offer my models here, do you need this http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/ima ... 076814.jpg or that http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/ima ... 880424.jpg ?
Propably not very useful for this project but ... yeah.

Re: questions & suggestions
There is one more thing I want to suggest: a "playmusicloop" function.
No way to properly loop music in vanilla MW and it would be good to be able to do that.

Re: Icons
Just wanted to link to Nomadic1's icons, they are imo the best ones yet but were posted in another thread so maybe you have not seen them. https://forum.openmw.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1421&start=20#p15224 @sir, wouldn't it be a good idea to close one of the threads and/or merge them. Why di...

Re: Icons
I really don't know, my PERSONAL opinion is that those icons look a little too mouch like 1990s. I agree with that, those are indeed not very modern icons, both riidom's and mine. I am afraid I am not able to do much better within a reasonable time frame, it's up to you guys to decide wich way you ...

Re: Icons
And here is what I got so far: http://www10.pic-upload.de/29.03.13/bgxnumylxhj.png I would like to defend the choice for that button look as I think its intuitive and appropiate for drag & drop items - that purple star alone without a surounding shape would let me think that its just a pretty ic...
