Re: Holamayan

Why should saying hi to a Mayan be such an issue?

(Sorry, I just couldn't help myself)

Re: Open Legend: An Open Source Tabletop RPG now on Kickstar

Ugh, I need to get around to making one.

There's a little difficulty to it; ideally I'd be clever enough to go into Javascript and actually get a PDF that will autocalculate values, but a simple form fillable sheet is pretty easy (though it's been a long while since I've done it).

Re: Open Legend: An Open Source Tabletop RPG now on Kickstar

The thing that kind of concerns me is that there are 8 "supernatural" attributes? Seems a little strange. But I should really read the whole rules before opening my big mouth, please don't mind me. It's so that magicians train in individual schools. Picture it like TES's magic instead of ...

Re: Open Legend: An Open Source Tabletop RPG now on Kickstar

The interesting thing is that most people classify it as rules-lite, though I could see how they could seem cumbersome. Some of that comes from the fact that tabletop game rules tend toward the complicated. One of the things about Open Legend is that it throws you in at the deep end: a level 1 chara...

Open Legend: An Open Source Tabletop RPG now on Kickstarter

Open Legend is a tabletop roleplaying game with a heavy background in the Open Source movement. Unlike most tabletop games, it has a git repo, and an online rules document that is updated based on changes to said repository. It has recently launched a Kickstarter to create formal PDF and print optio...

Re: Open MW with MSGO/MGEXE/Tamriel Rebuilt

I believe NMM works fine with OpenMW, actually.

I've had some issues with it, but I think it's more of an issue with mod formatting than the platform itself.

Re: Difficulty of leveled list merging in OpenMW

Seems like something that could be added in relatively simply, though.

Simply make each list have a end delimiter that says what's going to happen: if there's none in the list, default to old behavior.

Re: Extremely low performance

Have you tried opening up the profiler to see what is going on in terms of where the time per frame is going? MVP might be changing the model collision meshes, which can cause performance issues with OpenMW's physics engine (a problem with the third-party library itself), but my bet is that you migh...

Re: Item Info Box

I like bounties and I already use bountysource to support a project with monthly donations. But I think they are usefull here only if they are approved by the team and they allign with the "1.0 Goals". This one "kind of" is included in "Improve the interface and journal sys...

Re: Item Info Box

I'll up the ante by personally awarding € 100.00 to whoever gets this done in a satisfying fashion (that means done according to the description above, with no missing features). ;) If you have that much to 'spend', why on this issue and not say on dynamic shadows and other graphical improvements? ...
