Re: GUI localization

But thanks for bringing that topic up again. That made me think about the future localisation feature again and finally the last piece, that I had puzzled with unsuccessfully for more than a year, fell into place. Glad that the issue was worked out! Kinda scary that I carry pretty much the entire p...

Re: GUI localization

But the best option right now is to not do any work on localisation of extra strings. This is a post 1.0 feature. I understand the desire to wait until after 1.0 to do GUI localization because of other priorities, but there is definitely a willingness from other developers to work on this now. I me...

Are you running 0.41.0 or one of the nightly builds?

Re: Add toggle sneak function to ingame menu

Seconding this. Seems like it would be easy enough to just add a new hotkey for "Always Sneak" to the "Controls" section of the options and have it default to nothing. This would match the "Always Run" option that currently exists. I can't imagine that localization woul...

Alternative way to move an item without a middle mouse button?

I'm trying out the OpenMW-CS, but am having trouble after placing an item. This video tutorial says that you can move an item around by clicking it with the middle mouse button, then it goes into an "edit" mode where drag arrows appear. Unfortunately, my laptop trackpad does not have a mid...

Re: Can't install data files from a Steam installation

There's an easy way to test if the Steam installation is corrupted. Open Steam Go to your library Right-click on Morrowind Choose "Properties" Click on the "Local Files" tab Click the "Verify integrity of game files…" button It will either say "All files successful...

Delete "Settings Section" pages on the wiki and point to ReadTheDocs

There are a number of pages on the Wiki about settings sections, such as "Cells Setting Section" and "Terrain Settings Section". They almost all contain a link to the Settings page, which clearly indicates that this documentation has been replaced by the documentation at Read the...

Re: How do I create a new book with new content?

Yep, that's the problem; I'm using 0.41.0 since that is the latest stable version, and that lacks the option to edit the contents of a book. I was hoping to stick with stable releases, but I guess I'll have to try a nightly if I want to be able to edit a book.

How do I create a new book with new content?

I would like to add a new book to a mod; one that has new content. I can see that I can add a book object, but I can't find any way to add new book content. Is there a way that I can do this?

What's your favorite in-game book?

Morrowind and the other Elder Scrolls games have a whole ton of books and other writings to read. What is your favorite? My favorite in the series is An Accounting of the Scrolls , which is about a scholar learning a surprising fact about the Elder Scrolls. It's succinct, has a wonderful ending, and...
