auto-targeting / weapon hitarea / target hitbox
Auto-targeting is already in wiki's wishlist. I try playing Skyrim / Oblivion but combat is very annoying: the challenge is to point enemy with cross-hair, while the challenge should be how to defeat the enemy. Bad frame rate makes it worse because camera overdrives easier. I know what is good: Guil...

Re: Elder-scrolls IV Oblivion
Scrawl and Zini have both said NO!!! to this multiple times. I've looked at the feasibility of expanding our NIF importer to use later versions of texture files, so moders would have more readily available content, but was shot down immediately. I don't know reason for "no" but use of lat...

Re: Why aren't mods on a github?
Separate distribution of mods would be better. Well, we should start compiling a list of best Morrowind mods, contact their authors, and ask permission to redistribute them and to modify them - if they need an update. It would be nice that players, who find Morrowind through OpenMW, don't have to se...

Re: Awesome real-time tree animation
Check for an implementation: https://code.google.com/p/natu-renderer/ I have asked google code to add "download as zip/tar" as in other sites - still no - pain to use svn client and pack. Anyone could copy to github for archival? does github has such archival copy service? google code stil...

Re: Multiplayer Arena
Found this old thread... I play actively Guild Wars 2. It is not WoW - it is better, as said by WoW players who now play GW2. The player skill is very important in competitive side of GW2. As noob, I'm dead about every time. Avoid those other mmorpg games as idea source if they are so dull. GW2 has ...

Re: opencs 0.34 - no window
All were ok in the settings. Perhaps some init bug. Opening the settings dialog helped.

opencs 0.34 - no window
OpenCS 0.34 (windows install) does not open any editing window. Just the text log window. OpenCS 0.32 works ok.

Re: Camera movement
In orbital mode, the rotation amount is larger when near the rotation point, and smaller when a far away. In any case, orbital mode is bad as now. It would be better to have the rotation angle related to the pointer movement. Like half window would be full rotation. Don't remember what values are in...

Camera movement
Hi. In FPV mode, I'm able to rotate the view to down but not back up. Something wrong there. In free mode, the orientation gets messy - as happens in any trackball based camera system. After the orientation is messed, are other modes useless because the orientation does not reset. What if we stick t...
