Re: OpenMW 0.38.0
Surely something like the Creation Kit has most of the same functionality. Can't we copy it?

Re: Benchmarks
A decade ago or so, the US air force did an experiment involving 220 Hz displays to test what the minimum framerate required to fly a fighter jet with a screen instead of a window was. Every pilot could easily identify details in an image flashed for a single frame, so the project was postponed inde...

Re: Option to turn off texture filtering
Options are great, and I'm not saying this one shouldn't be added. However, on forums of other projects I follow it's normal to have someone play devil's advocate for a proposed feature so that those who want it are forced to actually write a lot of good arguments for it (if they exist), as without ...

Re: Option to turn off texture filtering
To me, this looks like the equivalent of asking anti-aliasing to be removed from a game which it was locked on for (except without the benefit of a performance increase). The first two pictures just look unnecessarily noisy to me, and much less like real life than the third (although being an older ...

Re: Thief Companion Constance menu topics not all there
If it's the Emma, she's still pretty active on Skyrim's Nexus, and comments on her mods there generally get replied to pretty quickly. You'll probably get a response if you send a PM.

Re: Oculus Rift
My understanding was that the GPLv3 allowed you to compile against closed-source libraries provided they weren't shipped with the software (otherwise, how would you compile against DirectX?). That would mean we could use OpenVR and then let users who actually own a VR headset download OpenVR's binar...

Re: Morrowind + Redguard + Battlespire for ~10 € @ GOG
I made the post quite a while ago, but it was awaiting moderator approval. It's been like two weeks. That's why the deal's ended.

Re: OpenMW 0.38.0
I've not been following this project for that long, so this may seem like a dumb question, but the 'Current status' section of the GitHub page links to the issue tracker goals for 1.0, implying that these are the only things that need to be done before 1.0, but there are separate bug fixes and featu...

Re: Morrowind + Redguard + Battlespire for ~10 € @ GOG
Hi, first post here (although I've lurked for a while). Anyway, I saw this and thought it might be appreciated here: https://de.gamesplanet.com/game/the-elder-scrolls-morrowind-goty-edition-steam-key--1354-1 It's the GotY edition of Morrowind for €3.40 (equivalent to £2.50 or some number of dollars,...
