Application
Heya, I used to follow this project a while back, on the Google group, under the username Lordrea. For a while I provided hosting, before the real world started kicking my ass. I have some C++/Qt experience , and a smidge of Ogre experience. I don't have a whole lot of time for the project, but I'd ...

Re: 2 Ideas, both quite huge tasks
Online play would be pretty horrible. But I'd absolutely love to be able to do co-op. Grab a friend, jump on Skype, do some adventure. I do believe Morrowind could do well with a small party (3-4 players MAX), but it'd make a really cruddy MMO.

Re: Did you guys know this about Rollercoaster Tycoon?
Some dude named MonotoneTim on Twitch.tv streams this game at least once a week.
Opening it up in IDA Pro did not reveal anything near appealing. Extending it would certainly be a chore, but one could do if they cared enough.

Attached is a comma-separated export of a profiling done with VerySleepy. May or may not actually be useful.

Re: Cell load performance
Another round of tests with the same build on my laptop. Using public release of OpenMW 0.18 (Windows 32-bit build). Test #1: Using Morrowind Data Files (fully modded, only Morrowind.esm used). System: Details Cells Loaded: 5,-11; 5,-10; 5,-9; 6,-11; 6,-10; 6,-9; 7,-11; 7,-10, 7,-9 (Exiting Beshara)...

Re: Cell load performance
I do have Visual Studio 2010 hooked up to a validly compiling dev environment of OpenMW. That might be a problem. Visual Studio means Windows and I don't think there are any free profiling tools available for Windows (someone correct me please, if I am wrong). Ideally we should try to find a Linux ...

Re: Cell load performance
Unfortunately the only reliable way to find out is to get someone with slow loading to profile the crap out of it. As a slow loader with tech experience, would be happy to help with that. Though I'd need to read up on profiling and the like or have someone walk me through it. I do have Visual Studi...

Re: Cell load performance
Can we have at least one more person testing it? I would like a confirmation before I proclaim that we have a problem. Using public release of OpenMW 0.18 (Windows 32-bit build). Test #1: Using Morrowind Data Files (fully modded, only Morrowind.esm used). System: Details Cells Loaded: 5,-11; 5,-10;...

Re: Textures arnt loading.
When I load up open mw it say's that morrowind.esm loaded. Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon bsa'a have loaded. It even say's that the data dir is correct. Then why is everything white? I went to seyda neen and balmora, no changes. I noticed this today too, when compiling it myself with a x86 build...

Re: Application - Cory Cohen
Finally I started reading the forums, which was probably the most confusing part of my new user experience, because it took me several visits to the forums to figure out that there were two forums (an old one and a new one). If the old forum has been migrated the new forum, it should probably be re...
