Re: OpenMW 0.20.0
The 'awesome' award should go to WeirdSexy for not only lending his voice to OpenMW and making the videos but also through the making of the videos is also our #1 play tester and bug/regression finder. The amount of time and energy you have put into the project is highly valuable. Three cheers for W...

Re: OpenMW 0.20.0
Source package used: https://launchpad.net/~openmw/+archive/openmw/+files/openmw_0.20.0.orig.tar.bz2 Do you want me to upload this one as our source release? Does it have shiny, or whatever that confounded thing is? ;). Launchpad wouldn't build otherwise, so I'm going to assume that it is 'safe'. :P

Re: updated from ppa; crashes at startup
What does "installed manually " mean? Openmw pulls in the other two debs when installed with apt. I can validate that it works on precise with an old laptop, direct from ppa.

Re: updated from ppa; crashes at startup
Can someone else verify this with Precise? OpenMW works fine (as in I cannot reproduce that error) on Quantal 12.10. Can you check that these files exist? /usr/share/games/openmw/resources/mygui/openmw_map_window.layout /usr/share/games/openmw/resources/mygui/openmw_map_window_skin.xml Did you insta...

Re: Aborts during startup
Just so you know, bullet has nothing to do with Ogre. Mygui does, so recompiling mygui against 1.8 makes sense.

Re: Aborts during startup
I think so, you may have compiled against 1.8 headers, but your libs that OpenMW need to use (because you compiled against 1.8) are something else. You're best bet is to either purge the whole ogre lot and install just the 1.8. If that isn't an option, try compiling statically against Ogre.

Re: OpenMW 0.20.0
I ran with anti-aliasing turned off for the last three months because I thought it would improve performance (however, it doesn't, or it is negligible). I can imagine people looking to similarly improve their own performance would like to know that anti-aliasing in the off position is likely to be ...

Woah, looks like you've been mixing and matching Ogre libs. /tmp/buildd/ogre-1.8-1.8.0+dfsg1/OgreMain/src/OgreResourceGroupManager.cpp (line 756) 09:39:35: OGRE EXCEPTION(2:InvalidParametersException): Invalid box. in GLXWindow::copyContentsToMemory at /tmp/buildd/ogre-1.7.4+dfsg1/RenderSystems/GL/s...
