Re: Vivec retexture to show off/test shaders
@lysol: May I use your textures for a little showcase in the current release videos? Of course, all credits go to you (and scrawl, the grey eminence ;) ). The opening post links to your current texture files, right? If you allow me to show them, is there anything else to their installation than dro...

Re: Vivec retexture to show off/test shaders
Oh sorry I didnt read much, thought you didnt understand the basics of specular maps. It sure doesnt hurt to practice with it and your textures look nice so far! I didn't really at first, but I've read a lot about it since then. :) And thanks btw. IIRC, texture artist usually take the diffuse map a...

Re: How do Skyrim assets look in OpenMW?
I don't think they will anyway. I think I read that such features will only slow the CS down and therefore won't be implemented. Scrawl?DestinedToDie wrote:My models have normals maps now, but they look like they don´t in OpenMW-CS. So it seems it hasn´t translated over to the OpenMW-CS.

Re: Vivec retexture to show off/test shaders
Is it just me or does everything look kind of shiny like it's wet? Might not be just you! It's the specular maps. They are really hard to get right, cause either you get no shinyness or you get too much. I would like to have just a tiny tiny bit on the walls (I guess it's the walls that look too we...

Re: Vivec retexture to show off/test shaders
Would you by any chance also upload this to Nexusmods? It's just so convenient to install mods using their mod manager. UPD: Though now thinking of it, it wouldn't be any reasonable since original game doesn't support specular & parallax mapping (only bump one as I remember?). Yes, first off th...

Re: OpenMW 0.39.0
Hello! I have a couple of questions: With the recent changes, when and where it will be possible we use normal/bump/etc maps? All static objects? Terrain? Characters? Shader texture suppport is already in the nightlies so the answer to when is "0.39" or even "now" if you downloa...
