Line endings
I get a couple of files marked as changed even though I haven't touched them. Now I am not an expert on git, but I think this might indicate a line ending problem. AFAIR I configured my git client properly, so it is not on my side (could be wrong about it though; first time git user). So most likel...

FindOIS.cmake
Anyone with more CMake knowledge than me want to try their hand at compiling with OIS? The latest commit as it stands now uses some OIS parts (OIS is the input system that comes with Ogre.) But it doesn't compile because the CMake file isn't set up properly. I tired adding FindOIS.cmake from the Og...

Out of Source Build
The current version of OpenMW does not support out of source builds without manual copying of files. Also the openmw base directory starts to look a bit cluttered. Would it be okay to build/configure binaries and associated files to a bin directory instead? That should solve the out of source build...

Source and Buildsystem
After looking seriously at the code for the first time, I have a couple of comments to make: 1. The source uses both .h and .hpp extensions. Either one is good. Having both at the same time is not. Actually it is bloody annoying. 2. The cmake script lists source files individually. While I am aware...

Ogre 1.7 ?
Currently OpenMW is based on Ogre 1.6. Can we move to 1.7 instead? With the current state of the C++ version that would be very easy (only one line needs to be changed). Hi, Is there other libs that needs to be updated? As far as I can tell, OpenMW isn't using any other libraries right now. There i...

OK, title changed.hircine wrote:I think we should use OpenMW (that specific capitalization) as the titles,
we can use Open Morrowind in meta data for search engines.
OpenMW i think is the project's identity. lets not even tempt lawyers and just leave it as OpenMW.

Re: Website
Was there a discussion about using "Open Morrowind" as a title for the project and website? That seems to be the case now at openmw.org. Afaik that might be infringing a trademark and thus dangerous. Bethesda as a publisher has been very conscious about this kind of stuff lately (see here...

Re: Website
Rhys S, and Horrowind are not developers. At least I don't remember seeing any code contribution from them. Some of the other names are completely unknown to me, but maybe I remember them only by their forum/github nick. Where did you get that list from? I have got it from bugtracker (they are regi...

Re: Website
If you don't mind I will suggest to leave wiki with a default skin, because it's more readable, second I think we could use a theme which looks like: http://cygnusdivision.pl/ or Burning Crusade World of Warcraft or maybe like that: http://karsten.deviantart.com/art/Fanta ... e-83220159 (but this o...
