Re: Release process changes
are you meaning the gettrought of reported and solved issues in changelog? No, I mean our RC packages being tested before being released. Case in point from 0.40.0: The Windows packages were build without any testing. We encountered a delay because there was no confirmation if they even work. Even ...

Re: OpenMW 0.40.0
Also you forgot to mention the addition of this icon to OpenCS in the 0.40 changelog. It doesn't seem to be present in 0.39 (at least it's not shown in the release video).

Re: [Solved] Update broke libopenscenegraph package
This occurs because of a serious bug in packaging.
For people doing the packaging: here is a hotfix.
When you're done applying it and rolling it out to the PPA, contact me and I'll explain how to handle this properly.

Re: OpenMW 0.40.0
Perhaps this is something to note in the release notes for Ubuntu PPA users that they need to first uninstall everything having to do openscenegraph first before install openmw-0.40? https://forum.openmw.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3739&p=41683#p41680 NOOOOOOO It's a bug in the Debian packaging...

Re: Stackoverflow free ads for FOSS projects
Unfortunately we can't have any interactivity - the ad has to be a static PNG, 300x250 pixels in size.

Re: Stackoverflow free ads for FOSS projects
A wild Shnatsel appeared! I'm surprised I'm remembered. What I did on Reddit was drawing a free sketch for every bug found in OpenMW to get people to try it and figure out how to report bugs. Here's the thread . That won't work for a StackOverflow ad though. I'm also totally dry on ideas right now, ...

Re: An OpenMW "competitor" or scam?
According to github logs, he got this far in 2 years. Although the initial commit is 5,000 lines of code so probably the project has history from before that time

Re: tes3mp code was made public
This is a 3-minute video that captures it perfectly, I think: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7iDTRrhM4w https://www.reddit.com/r/morrowind is full of tes3mp videos right now, some lasting for over an hour. What this code missing right now is a roadmap. To make this multiplayer mod actually useful,...

Re: Scene Toolbar Icon Request
I think it's more about the modified state in the icon being right next to the actual state of the scene view ;) Right now the icons are slightly optimized for left-to-right reading, which is why instead of simply flipping the scene view icon I've masked the other half and re-generated the entire se...

Re: Scene Toolbar Icon Request
Also, I've looked at my view switcher icon in place and it has occurred to me that it can be made much more intuitive, which I have entirely overlooked back in the day. Here's what we have now: opencs_current_state.png I think this is much more obvious: flipped_icon_mockup.png That should be as easy...
