Re: Story draft version 2
You awaken in a room with various graphical goodies like parallax occlusion maps and a canal running across it with some fabulous -looking water effects. A ball of light flies over and begins to speak. Welcome to the Example Suite for OpenMW. We're glad you're here! I'll be your Guiding Light. You c...

Re: Proposal for getting this project done
I'm certainly in favor of having more direction on this probject, but are there enough people working on this to warrant more than one management position? This sounds a little like the army of Oz.

Re: On the Native Mesh Format
On that note, can anybody describe what actually are the constraints, if any, on creating brand new meshes, skeletons and animations for vanilla Morrowind? And how a new format (or the nature of OpenMW itself) will better facilitate its implementation? From what I can tell, they have to fit a very ...

Re: Issue #3185 - finding a suitable NPC model
Any news on this ? Yes, and no. The news is that there is no news but will be news soon. My main computing machine took a turn for the worse (I think the old bucket of circuits got a bit too toasty a few too many times), so I haven't been able to make any progress on the model or rig lately. I just...

Re: Advertise Example Suite and Game Template projects
"BY" is just the English word "by", and doesn't even need to be capitalized like that. You'll also see it as "CC-By" or "CC-by" a lot of the time, for that reason. More formally, you can call it "Creative Commons Attribution", or if you want to be ex...

Re: DarkFO, looks like OpenMW for Fallout 2
Let's not forget the Stratagus family of engine reimplementations: Wargus (Warcraft 2), War1gus (Warcraft: Orcs & Humans), and Stargus (Starcraft). Wargus apparently needs the original CD (not the Battle.net version and not anything you can download), so I ended up playing Wyrmsun instead.

Re: Advertise Example Suite and Game Template projects
Well, I just got moved into my new place, so I can probably have some more work done within the next few days. Then there should be a little more to show off.

Re: Talky Morrowind
sure it's rough around the edges like a durian Hard to get into, loved by few, and banned on public transit? ;) Even if there's a really good voice library that would make it sound natural (which I doubt) and that is customizable enough to make Dunmer, Khajiit, and Argonian voices, it still seems l...
