Started with nordic fur, switched to netch leafter armor when armorer skill got to 25. Will prob stay with netch until armorer reaches 50 . I am fuzzy on the details, so do correct me here, but what I had in mind was that, and here I am quoting the openmw modding site as the only GCD version I have ever tried was Galsiah's and a long tine ago and in the original engine, is that the first functioning GCD version for openmw by Greywander...

The method of adding permanent fortify skill / stat spells to allow going over 100 has been in use as long a go as 2004 and works with the original engine. lua events for leveling mods

I like Madd Leveler a lot and have been toying with the idea to write (or help writing) a modern spiritual successor to it. There are also several mwse-lua leveling mods that use interesting approaches. I expect that such mods will require many addtions to openmw lua, but one has to start somewhere....

I don't have the answers to your questions, but do think https://openmw.readthedocs.io/en/latest ... index.html will help , even though it probably targets 0.49 . (If there is a 0.48 version of the doc I can't find it)

I had the same issue a while ago.

latest documentation states toggle sneak & always run were removed from settings.cfg and can now be configured ingame.

Took some searching to find them (again) , but they are at options screen > scripts > openmw controls .
