Re: Collision Implementation for static objects

Root Collision Node is only used if you specify a mesh to be used as collision. Otherwise it just used the base mesh as collision. For complex meshes, using root collision would cut down on power needed for calculations, provided the collision mesh is simpler than the original.

Re: Multiple water levels & sizes and High object count?

That isnt actually quite true. The game Hydrophobia has the most kickass water there is. Unfortunatly, its more like a tech demo than a game as they really didnt put much effort into the story part. Surely this is reinforcing what I said? Its in a small tech demo/ game, and very few other if any co...

Re: Spellmaking improvements

Comic con from July 24 through 27? I might go with a friend. We could possibly rendezvous. That's still a few months away so I'll get back to you if I'm going or not. That would be so cool to meet other TES fans, especially the OpenMW faculty. :) Yep! We'll plan it when it gets closer. You NEED to ...

You're talking about fluid dynamics which aren't even in modern day commercial games. Let alone an open source project. Physics boxes ar...

Re: Characters and physics

To hell with bouncing breasts! I wanna see bouncy balls and floppy penises! After all, 'tis only natural. Well I am sure you can get both eventually, until then, be happy with them in real life. Anyway, the point of bounding boxes was to make things simpler. Now that we have more powerful...

Re: How would I get OpenMW working?

I've probably spent more time on this game than on the toilet.
'In a sophsitocated leaning back professor puffing his pipe': But have you played it while on the toilet?
