Re: Savegame size, what are normal values?

The largest I have is about 4Mb but that is for a test character that has only got as far as joining the blades, most of my test saves have not gone far from Seyda Neen and are 2 or 3Mb, a new game after the census office is about 500k. I would think 13Mb is probably about right.

Re: Blades agents dialog

I have never seen Elone at Arilles trade house until 0.32, I was assuming she did not show up until after joining the blades, I can not remember if that was how vanilla worked. I joined the blades and returned ans still could not find her. I did not report it as 0.32 was just out and I was still on ...

Re: Item Grouping

I have also noticed that sometimes there are two stacks of the same item in an inventory, I have not checked yet due to other problems but it seems one stack is legally obtained items the other is stolen ones. If this is so it fixes the vanilla bug that taints all your legal items as stolen if you a...

Re: (Linux fedora 20 (64 bit)) Cannot locate resource openmw

It seems that as a new linux user you are making a few error that make life difficult for yourself. As pointed out earlier editing config files in /etc is not recommended. unless you know exactly what you are doing. For most applications you will have an override config file in your home directory, ...

Re: (Linux fedora 20 (64 bit)) Cannot locate resource openmw

I have two copies of openmw.png on my box. One in /user/share/pixmaps the other, identical file is in /usr/share/games/openw/resources/mygui. It is the icon used on the play button in the launcher, it may be used elswhere as well. If you do not have it at these locations it could be the fedora insta...

Re: OpenMW 0.33.0

Taking time and getting it right is much more preferable to rushing and letting things slip through. Of course the the preference is to rush it and get things right :D

Re: version 0.32 not working with "adv. herbalism" mod

The only email I have found is 10 years old, but I still check some accounts from 15 years ago so there is hope. I have also found a second script error, jjs_herb_ashyam1 gives an insane amount of exp. for harvesting, 3 levels each harvest.

Re: version 0.32 not working with "adv. herbalism" mod

By 'never going to work' I meant the scripts that were written by modders who are no longer active and were using some esoteric code exploits in Bethesda's code that does not work in OpenMW. These will never work without a rewrite probably from scratch.
In this case I am trying to contact the author.
