I have managed to reproduce the issue 100% on Vanilla Morrowind + OpenMW + Morrowind Rebirth and the fault appears to lie with either how Morrowind Rebirth generates its harvestables or how OpenMW parses a save with Morrowind Rebirth on loading. And it's back... after an exit and reload. Damn. I am getting clumps of harvestables in the oddest places. I see ferns with fungi in them, bracket fungus with regular shrooms and also a ground shroom with a bracket fungus in it.

Are you using a laptop with a discreet graphics card? If so, check that it has not switched back to the low power iGPU. Are you using some other app in the background which is taking up a lot of memory or taxing your processor?

Well it looks like it was a one off caused by starting a game, adding mods in phases and then resuming that game. I created a clean profile and excluded Graphic Herbalism. When I started a fresh character, all I saw were the expected plants that Vanilla plus Morrowind Rebirth had specified. They all...

Hmm... there does not appear to be a patch for Graphic Herbalism and Morrowind Rebirth that I can find. Could someone point me to the TES3 equivalent tool of TES5EDIT and I will have a look at the possibility of a patch.

Mod conflict giving multiple plants
I would appreciate some help in tracking down a mod conflict which is causing multiple types of harvestable plants to be found in one location. Are you referring to (on Windows at least) Documents \ My Games \ OpenMW \ openmw.cfg (and settings.cfg in the same folder)?
