Re: OpenMW port to ps4
I don't remember exactly what post it was in, but I remember this question was asked, and having to link to a proprietary library was exactly the reason this couldn't be done. I'll edit post if I can find the quote. EDIT: So it looks like what I was thinking about was: Since Morrowind is coming to t...

Re: Daggerwind?
This is an idea I would endorse. While reverse engineering would usually be most of the work, DFUnity already has a great deal of the system hashed out, and feels mostly the same as vanilla. However, the one place that DFUnity fails, is the physics system. I'm actually not sure if Interkarma just ha...

Re: OpenTESArena 0.6.0 Released!
Looks like a 0.7.0 build is going to happen soon... I, for one, am excited to finally test some of the newest features.

Re: XL Engine source code release!
Procedural height generation should probably be configured based on the terrain or biome, like Minecraft. It would be cool to walk into the mountainous regions and traverse actual mountains, or walk across waving dunes. Being able to have enormous view distances is neat, but the problem is making it...

Re: XL Engine source code release!
Ok, so with the current binary, trying to start both Daggerfall and Dark Forces with the XLEngine Launcher simply crashes the program. It doesn't even idle with black screen. Both copies of my games are from GOG. I could try downloading Bethesda's free copy of Daggerfall and test that, later. EDIT B...

Re: XL Engine source code release!
Although I prefer Linux, I have Windows on my gaming computer, and I'd be more than happy to test the binaries, as I own both Daggerfall and Dark Forces. I also own Blood, but AFAIK, BloodXL wasn't worked on too much.

Re: OpenMW 0.44.0
I've also been working on climbing recently too but fortunately I don't need any bugs to be fixed for it to work (other than my own :D ), here's a video of it (recorded before I made the stamina work like Breath of the Wild's climbing) https://streamable.com/erxu6 That looks fantastic! I disagree t...

Re: XL Engine source code release!
Personally, Blood is my favorite Build Engine shooter, but BloodGDX works pretty well already. I love Star Wars, and I like playing Dark Forces, but I honestly don't need a source port for that. I like Daggerfall Unity and what Interkarma has achieved thus far, but I don't like that it depends on......

Gameplay Improvements
So I've been playing Morrowind for a while now (I recently reached level 55), and there are just a few things I would like to see implemented as optional features that can be enabled in the cfg, to enhance a few annoying things about gameplay. First, I would like to see an option to limit jump heigh...

Re: OpenMW desperately needs a Flatpak
Although I used to hate it, and am not quite a fan of anything Ubuntu has made, I've actually heard from respectable package maintainers and distro developers that Snap packaging has become quite good in recent months. At least, good enough for the developer of Solus to put Flatpak support on hold a...
