Re: OpenMW 0.47.0
Well, I guess it is good to mention that the special handling of grass do not have the issues with the max 8 lights limit like the active grid paging has as of now.

Re: Lua scripting in OpenMW
Would it be possible to implement a native way for the engine to find the tool and use it then, without making the tool a dependency? I mean, instead of making it possible for scripts to find and run whatever app they want, just define in the engine that this certain app is ok and that scripts are a...

Re: Translucent materials and lights
Lights do actually get there, it's just that the shadow casting apparently doesn't realize that there shouldn't be any shadows cast from the glass. Re: Microsoft buys Bethesda... What does it mean for OpenMW?
The original engine is never touched by OpenMW, only the asset files are. Reverse engineering simply means that you try to figure out how something work, and then code a new thing based on the research with the goal of making it work the same way, even though you've never actually seen the original ...

Re: Microsoft buys Bethesda... What does it mean for OpenMW?
Wow. But seriously, to me it means nothing. It's not like Bethesda was the bestest company ever either. OpenMW runs Morrowind assets, nothing more, so OpenMW will always be the libre alternative to play Morrowind, regardless of who is the owner of the company that once developed that game. Microsoft...
