For starters, why not add advertisement on the website? I wouldn't mind at all if openmw.org had ads, and this might add a bit of budget, which could be spent on hosting costs, etc.

Why? To have a company that makes newer assets for us would be great. But I might turn the whole OpenMW new-engine-thing obsolete for the larger public since they'd probably port it to a updated version of Creation Engine or some other newer engine. On every gaming forum I'm on, noone is waiting for Skyrim 2.0. It's either Morrowind or Oblivion they're waiting for. It would be epic² to have a Morrowind remaster, but that would suck big time for the OpenMW team...

Terrain texture seams
Does OpenMW also needs the Texture fix esm bij Slartibartfast or does it correcty render more than 2 adjacent terrain textures without seams? Couldn't find an answer to this anywere...

Since OpenMW gets a lot better FPS than the vanilla engine (and hardware keeps getting faster and faster), I'm not sure if a feature like this will be necessary for much longer.
