I guess no one feels this is a necessary feature missing from vanilla Nah, it's just that we're working towards version 1.0 and it means we support all features from vanilla Morrowind. Most stuff is hardcoded and unflexible but this will change after 1.0. I'm pretty sure that we will do a complete ...

Just a random thought... would it make sense to use PyQT and SIP? So, create the QT objects in C++ and then use them in Python to build to editor?

I like the approach of blender. Basically you've a set of different functions. You can arrange them like you want (split or join a view and change the function of the view). I can't find a nosound (or sth. like that) option in my ini file. The remaining things should be fixed. Also, I'm not sure if it is the best to go threw the whole code and replace the fixed with the fallback values since the code is not that small. Maybe it's better if a person who knows a subsystem...

fps is now a setting. should be in ~/.config/openmw/settings.cfg
