Re: Openmw and Skywind
This. And people talking about "porting Skywind". Why? What is the point? Port its unique assets to Morrowind as a mod, sure. Assuming a post-1.0 world with NIF support (or conversion) and all that, then can come the content mods . I'd rather see Morrowind Rebirth (which has already start...

Re: Openmw and Skywind
My only worries about Skywind, is that it´s going to require the Skyrim engine/esms. And even if we do port it. Yes, Skyrim IS required for Skywind. To use Skywind models and textures in OpenMW, first off the models and textures (only the Skywind exclusive ones, none of the Skyrim ones) needs to be...

Re: windows 98
I agree with wheybags, I don't really see the point in a win 98 version. I thought OpenMW was a fresh, modern engine made for today's computers (more or less), not a lighter engine for older computers. Why run the engine that will support loads of new graphical features (and other more advanced feat...

Re: Startup Window - Icon Request
For new game, I would go with a book titled "In the Beginning" Something like leather bound rotated off center a little(so the book is not perfectly straight) That is a neat idea. However I am not sure, if this would transfer well into a small file type icon. Also, English text is a big N...

Re: Startup Window - Icon Request
Hey. I'm coming out of nowhere (I lurk here a lot. I mean, a lot) with a suggestion that might work, but there are probably better alternatives. New game (I'm assuming new master file, in other words a total conversion, or since this is an open engine, a new game?): A landscape with some trees with ...

Re: OpenMW 0.24.0
Hey, since you were talking about my crash problem, I can add that 0.23 crashed for me too. I just thought I did something wrong and didn't have the time to figure out where I did it. Now, when I tried the RC2 for this release, I were a lot more careful not to do anything wrong when installing (haha...

Re: 0.24 crash
My graphics card? Strange... I have a geforce GT425M. Nothing fancy at all, but I guess it should run most of todays shaders? Did you change anything regarding that between 0.22 and 0.23 or 0.24? Hope you can solve it.
Thanks!
Thanks!

0.24 crash
Hi there, I've been lurking here almost daily for a while now. Really excited about the project. Last working version of OpenMW I tried was 0.22, which worked perfectly. I downloaded 0.24 RC 2 this time, and I can't get it to work, it just crashes like a second after the loading screen shows. Probab...
