Official OpenMW developers museum mod
I have had this idea for a few months. Creating a mod, a wax museum, for all the OpenMW developers / testers / packagers / PR'ers etc. 1) Build a mansion style complex for 200+ static npc figures, signage, and decorations. Plus maybe house keepers (not slaves hopefully), guards, and museum maintaine...
Re: C vs C++
The real pain is converting C to C++ in legacy projects. Imagine the 15 million line Linux Kernel converted to OOD with C++... What a pain in the ass. My company is in the process of doing this now for one of our products. Even if your project is C++, it can still be a pain/not worth the effort to u...

Re: OpenTESArena 0.4.0 Demo
Really cool project! I've never played TES Arena, but I might start with your project. I imagine you can enhance the game quite a bit compared to it's antiquated counterpart. Isn't every engine reimplementation project legally obligated to have a German narrator? Weird. But wasn't it the law that ga...

Re: Example Suite upload limit
Github has specific reservations on repo sizes. A company I worked with bumped into the 1GB limit a few times. Actions were usually an email and a harsh warning that they'd freeze our repo when we got close to 1.5GB.

Re: 1.0 Release
Isn't there a ticket about this in the bug tracker? https://bugs.openmw.org/issues/1000
I think 1.0 might mean fantastic mods are being made and played with our tech. When OpenMW-CS catches up, assuming OpenMW progresses as well, then we know we're #1

Re: OpenMW 0.42.0
Call me new fashioned, but I find changelogs to be really boring reading. I much prefer the videos, even if it does delay release a bit. I'm pretty sure the last video got somewhere around 32K views, so I think it's safe to say the videos are the main way people keep up with what goes on. Yeah I wo...

Re: Application: bwhaines
bwhaines?!? I'm a Haines, unrelated I bet.
If there is something you can start with, we need significant progress done on OpenMW-CS! But you may need to navigate with the other developers on those tasks.

Re: How to refer to macOS in news and wiki?
We do not support Mac OS Classic. We actually don't support anything less than Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and in actuality the game probably only runs on 10.7 and above. I think you misunderstand. He's not talking about Mac OS Classic. OS X has changed name to macOS since the release of Sierra. See...
