Maybe I can help you. I think the problem is that the engine requires you to define the Start and End of the sequence. Bellow you find a tutorial for Blender and Morrowind. how custom animations for individual creatures is handled in general.. ? OpenMW can change the animations of creatures that share the beasts or human animations.
