Re: Using version numbers on the bugtracker
Relevant wiki page at https://wiki.openmw.org/index.php?title=Bug_Reporting_Guidelines Basically it says fill in the following: Subject Description Reproducibility O/S and leave the rest to the devs. That's probably close enough - though it does raise the question whether priority, category and seve...

Re: Wiki geek, playtester
Loriel - You're right, we do need to add the bsa stuff. I can't remember but the official docs might even say something inaccurate about it. Part of the problem with writing all of it myself is I actually have to know how to do everything lol. As for esm, the official docs do discuss this. Find the...

Re: Partner Mods
Thanks for that. I see #4088 has now been closed as a duplicate, and discussion continued on #3109. There is clearly something wrong somewhere in there, stopping Companion Teleportation working as it should, but my earlier analysis was probably too simplistic and I've not yet identified the change f...

Re: Wiki geek, playtester
A couple of requests/suggestions for the documentation on mod installation: Please add coverage of bsa files. They aren't often included in mods, but the installation is sufficiently different that it's not obvious how to do it (unless you read the openmw.cfg file, which is rather long, and they are...

Re: Glitched image in scroll
The problem appears to lie in the Tribunal esp or bsa. That note/book is supposed to contain the image "Adren_note.tga" which doesn't appear to exist. Vanilla Morrowind is more forgiving, as usual, and just ignores it and leaves a blank. OpenMW is more strict and draws attention to the err...

Is it also free as in freedom ? Doesn't look like it. Main part of the licence agreement: 1. This software is not to be distributed via any website domain without the prior written approval of the rightful owner. 2. This software must not be modifed, taken apart, reverse engineer, decompile, disass...

Re: Multimark mod not working in 0.42?
After much loading, reloading and reordering my mod list, I can now say that Multi-Mark needs to load after Morrowind Rebirth , as while MWR doesn't seem to use summon_monster_04/05, it does alter the various Mark/Recall spells and items and appears to revert MM's changes to sm_4/5. Thus, loading M...

Re: Multimark mod not working in 0.42?
I think it's a mod clash - try moving the multimark mods to the bottom of the list.
As I recall, the updated multimark uses a couple of "spare" effects, but warns that other mods may also claim them and thus clash.

Deus Ex Machina - A Steampunkyish Mod
Existing test data is rather outdated, from OpenMW 0.35.0 At that point, the mod could not be loaded into the CS for verification, to identify errors. Scrawl requested a retest to see if a specific bug had been fixed by a later commit. Large mod, so I don't intend to test very much of it, but I thin...
