Re: OpenMW YouTube videos
If you upload only the normals and make that very explicit, and that it is dependent on the original work, that really shouldn't be any different from uploading a plugin that's dependent on another one that you don't have permission to change and re-upload. That is, you shouldn't need permission. U...

Re: OpenMW YouTube videos
Great video! Not only awesome for OpenMW, but for explaining normals to a general audience. (A shiny Septim for you if you finish those head normal maps.) I actually did finish them, MindTex can easily batch normal map entire folders of diffuse textures at once. I've done it for most texture mods i...

Re: Morrowind Enhanced Textures on OpenMW
Only changes to the game require .esp or .esm files, replacers like textures and meshes don't. You can just drop the 'textures' folder of that mod into your Morrowind/data folder and it will work, the game will automatically load replacer assets in your data folder. It is advised to use a mod manage...

Re: Procedural generation based on land terrain texture grid
Could this be used to help out Tamriel Rebuilt? or maybe generate a bigger and more realistic Vvardenfell?

OpenMW YouTube videos
I noticed there is a lack of YT videos about OpenMW, aside from the devblogs that go on the MrOpenMW channel. I mean videos about demonstrating OpenMW specific features and highlights, discussing OpenMW mods and mod compatibility, stuff like that. I had an idea to create a video on my channel about ...

Re: Followers of shadows, the day has come!
But you can use the bat files to generate texture atlases from whatever textures you have. Normals too, if you tweak the bat scripts. Also, DaggerfallTeam has made normals for Tyddy’s atlases, though I can’t vouch for them. I had a look but it wouldn't work for me, the bat file didn't do anything e...

Re: Followers of shadows, the day has come!
@mrmoonshine, thanks for the modlist! I notice that it lacks both Morrowind Optimization Patch and Project Atlas. Both could help with performance. Tyddy has some hires texture atlases, or you could make them yourself with the included bat files. I tried Morrowind Optimization Patch a while ago and...

Re: Followers of shadows, the day has come!
You are wrong. A branch for 0.45 release was created in November, while shadows were merged only three weeks ago. So it's 0.46 then? I changed the title. Whoah. Great mod collection too. That bonemold armor mesh+texture, link? Yeah... gonna need a mod list for this one. :) Bonemold armor: https://w...
