Re: OpenMW Nightly builds
Don't know much about builds and dependencies, but I'm guessing the problems with bullet are why I can't install from the daily ppa atm? The following packages have unmet dependencies: openmw : Depends: libbullet2.85 but it is not installable Recommends: openmw-launcher but it is not going to be ins...

Re: Please add Xbox GUI for controllers
If it does get implemented it could be pretty good PR as an example of something the Vanilla engine isn't capable of and only is possible with OpenMW.

Re: Please add Xbox GUI for controllers
Also, that mod doesn't seem to provide what we're looking for, which is console ui. OpenMW already has good button mappings, but without proper ui you are forced to use the analog stick to steer the mouse pointer around which is awkward and tiring during long play sessions. Finding out what the butt...

Re: Please add Xbox GUI for controllers
No idea if it could help but I own a copy of the Morrowind GotY for Xbox.
Anyway, I'd be excited for this possibility but I'm not expecting it to really be even a twinkle in anyone's eye until post-1.0.

Re: OpenMW 0.40.0
How do I do this? Nit quite Linux literate enough to know where debian/control is. If you're not making the .deb packages, you don't. The people handling the PPA will do it (and it sounds like it's already done; you just need to update). My system is broken, I can't update anything. anton@anton-Pep...

Re: OpenMW 0.40.0
Perhaps this is something to note in the release notes for Ubuntu PPA users that they need to first uninstall everything having to do openscenegraph first before install openmw-0.40? https://forum.openmw.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3739&p=41683#p41680 NOOOOOOO It's a bug in the Debian packaging...

Re: Native Controller Support but no Xbox UI?
I love that someone added controller support, but navigating the ui by maneuvering the mouse pointer with the analog stick is pretty difficult so I'd be psyched for this to get done at some point.
