Re: Better preview mode
I appreciate any feedback on the new preview mode ( video example from the first post) and "auto switch shoulder" feature from !237 ( video example ). Well, I haven't tested this feature but the video looks pretty cool. I like the idea of the shoulder switch in case you are too close to a...

Re: Sun damage tweaks
I've been watching this thread of posts, and this is an awesome feature! I mean, the idea of cover from sun damage is a cool effect. I cannot wait until we have the functionality that MWSE does that would allow us to grab references of creatures/NPCs to script/code them to follow you outside of cave...

Re: Application with a new feature: ptmikheev
While the top one looks more like vanilla morrowind, the bottom looks aesthetically better (more realistic). I like it, but I'm not a dev.

Re: Fargoth Alternate Start
I took a look through the nexus link, and I did not see that this requires MWSE (which is definitely incompatible with openmw). This looks like it should work, however I can't confirm it without testing. If you choose to test this in openmw, let us know and we can update the openmw working modlist w...

Re: Contruction Set Not Properly Saving My Edits
Hi everyone. So I'm just trying to make a very simple change in the construction set. All I want to do is change the racial abilities of a custom race. I've done this before and it worked easily. But right now for some reason, even after saving the edits, nothing changes. When I go back to the cons...

Re: Using Wesnoth as a basis for Example Suite
While we are storming: An example suite makes me think of a demonstration of what the engine can do... Maybe make an example game that's actually a blend of genres, an aim to showcase everything that OpenMW can turn into.. Make something like a relatively small land mass, but with a wide variety of...

Can you elaborate? In the event someone else has this issue, it may be important to know what occurred so we can help othersQueenAdrian wrote: ↑09 May 2020, 01:51 Between submitting the post and it being approved, I figured out I just installed OpenMW from the wrong source. My bad.

Capo is right. However, hang onto those files just in case. They may someday be useful if/when oblivion support is looked into.

Re: Default graphic settings to show improvement over vanilla engine
I think that this is a good idea - to show the difference in how openMW and vanilla Morrowind look side by side. I think it would be good to show off the graphics improvements that we have already, as well as do a little hype/cheerleading for openMW. I don't know if anyone is currently working on PR...
