Re: FCC Repeals Net Neutrality.
Considering this huge controversy, I have to ask those of You who are Americans - were internet providers abusing their power before 2015? Net Neutrality was not a thing before that and yet I don't recall anyone complaining back then so I wonder whether it's my ignorance and things were bad back th...

Re: FCC Repeals Net Neutrality.
They can block, throttle or change anything they want now. For example, if a bill was created to bring back Net Neutrality, it would be completely fine for an ISP to make it seem as if it didn't exist to anyone using their services. Also, in the rare parts of the US where there's a choice of ISP, i...

Re: Undo the alleged MCP "fix" for Absorb spell reflection
How about a spell like this? Drain magicka to 1. Restore 1 magicka. This way you get 100% magicka and restore it. Okay, sure...Doesn't work if you have more than 101 Magicka though. Yeah, okay, you could make a version that restores more...Doesn't work if you have more than 200 then. IOW, worthless...

Undo the alleged MCP "fix" for Absorb spell reflection
In the vanilla game, when an absorb spell, say, Absorb Health, is reflected, it has you absorb health from yourself, so no change and nothing lost. The MCP has an exceptionally annoying "fix" for this behavior toggled on by default and located under bug fixes. The "fix" makes it ...

Re: Xbox 360 controller on Linux Mint
This isn't just a problem for OpenMW. My Xbox 360 controllers work exactly nowhere on Mint outside of Wine. It's honestly rather ridiculous, and I can't find any source for why this could be or how to fix it, either. The only answer I can come up with is that the specific controller I'm trying to us...

Re: Two bug reports on reddit
I honestly never even would have noticed that, since I've always used Talrivian's State-Based HP (the mod linked above). In all honesty, if birthsign bonuses are treated as base attribute changes rather than fortifications, that makes those signs seem much less worthwhile to me, since then you waste...

Re: OpenMW 0.43.0
Is this like, "when I run OpenMW my keyboard melts into a puddle on my desk" or is this like "button 57 on my Wingmaster Thrust 4000 doesn't have support for its heat-sensor alternate input"? hilarious request for details is hilarious Agreed. However, this part: 2.0.5: - By defa...
