Yes, though I conveniently can't reproduce it when I build the project myself, which makes it super awesome to try to debug.

Re: MWSE, Lua and OpenMW compatibility
Yeah, I'm not sure. But every time you download pluggy, or Frostfall, or any of these mods that ship with a Oblivion or Skyrim DLL, that's all precompiled code and that's not limited to Morrowind's or Oblivion's or Skyrim's sandbox. So they can go, and can delete your files, or do whatever. But wha...

Re: MWSE, Lua and OpenMW compatibility
OpenMW is forked all the time. 500+ on GH alone but I doubt that is what you mean by forking, you mean something like TES3MP? Isn't TES3MP long-term goal to be included back into OpenMW? You're now calling TES3MP fork of OpenMW terrible. I think you need to hold back on the hyperbole and focus. :ro...

Re: MWSE, Lua and OpenMW compatibility
Shallow forks are great, actually. You could just make a fork that adds the very most basic bits of IPC needed to make most unsafe mods work, and modders can use that and keep it up to date with "upstream" openmw. It wouldn't be problematic at all. There's a reason this FOSS mentality has...

Re: MWSE, Lua and OpenMW compatibility
Doesn't have to be viruses, it could be a low-priority crypto-coin miner. That would fly under the radar of most, if not all, virus scanners for example. I mean, you come off saying that it is hypothetical that there could be a virus in a mod but it hasn't happened. I point out that it isn't hypoth...

Re: MWSE, Lua and OpenMW compatibility
The files were targeted because they were popular, and viruses were delivered through normal downloading. It had nothing to do with OBSE, SKSE, etc. Arbitrary code was not to blame, the site getting hacked and downloads being injected were to blame. Doesn't SkyUI use DLLs through SKSE? I know it at...

Re: The Future of OpenMW Scripting
As for the MWSE/Lua topic that has been discussed elsewhere, if we go for oldscript+ that would be a no go, because it would turn it into option A). If we go for option B), then we need to have a look at MWSE/Lua, examine it carefully and then decide, if it fits into our long term plans for OpenMW....

Re: MWSE, Lua and OpenMW compatibility
About the security concern, both DarkElfGuy and yourself are quoted as saying that no viruses have ever shipped as mods and that the virus scanner on Nexus was due to popular consensus and not from anything that has happened. ... Interesting, I hadn't heard of that. But it proves my point, it doesn...

Re: Windows Pre-build Script Documentation Updated
MWSE has evolved further and added LUA, allowing more modding opportunities for Morrowind. I think it would have been done sooner had OpenMW not existed and people got tired of 'waiting' on OpenMW. This was recorded a few weeks ago, before some of the newest drama, but here's a link to the portion ...

Re: OpenMW 0.44.0
The tes3mp guys might have a few contacts that may be able to help narrow it down. I saw it come up a couple of times in their Discord.AnyOldName3 wrote: ↑11 Jun 2018, 20:44Then I can't replicate it and we need to work out if anyone else can.
