Re: Change to stl::filesystem from Boost::filesystem

I think it wasn't mentioned yet: There's a bug in mingw (gcc for Windows) which renders std::filesystem unusable right now. I'm currently writing some code that has to be platform-independent, and while C++17 is allowed, I still can't use std::filesystem (or even C++14 with std::experimental/filesys...

Re: OpenMW 0.45.0 Released!

I've heard from several credible sources that OpenMW devs are among the awesomest ppl on this planet. And pretty hot, too.

Re: A kind of crazy idea

There are different types of volcanoes. Red Mountain indeed looks like one with a caldera, which is a huge crater that forms when the magma chamber of a volcano collapses. Then, the ground above it is not supported anymore and just drops into the emerging hole. Given that before the collapse, the mo...

Re: A kind of crazy idea

BTW, is there a way to keep mods that add things like city expansions and lighthouses from needing updated? Like, is there certain cell data they rely on to know where they are in the game that can be moved with the current cells? Or is that not possible? Not sure if that was worded in a way that c...

Re: OpenMW 0.45.0

Since I'm one of the usual proofreaders: For me it's a matter of free time (as for you, raevol :P ). But I need to translate the log into German anyway, so expect some proofreading within the next week. Given that you already narrate the video, tell me if you ever need help with the log's translati...

But... for me that was a feature :'(

How does that translate to brewing 500 potions? Is that affected?

Re: Recent Negativity Regarding OpenMW

I find it nothing short of astonishing that non-contributors believe they know better and should be the ones calling the shots. If you think an open-source project goes the wrong way, feel free to contribute or leave constructive feedback. If you choose the latter, you are however not entitled to pe...

You guys are awesome <3

Hey dear openMW devs and supporters, just wanted to drop by and express my sincerest thanks for all the hard work you have put in over such a long time! I've followed the progress since around the frantic release video of v.0.26, though I think 0.38 was the first version I've actually played. By now...

Re: Transferring items with a single click

I think that sounds like a great idea. And I guess it only requires a moderate amount of work.
