Re: OpenMW settings
I just wanted to ask you ('cause i am trying so hard and makes me crazy), how can i modify the settings such as VIDEO and CONTROLLER MAPPING? Everytime i do it in-game and restart it i find the settings set to the default values and i have to do everything over again. Hi! This should work, sounds l...

Re: Fix The Lady Lover and Steed Birthsigns
I don't understand how it can be confusing to treat some things as inherent abilities of a character (birth signs, racial abilities, favored attributes, etc.) and others as deriving from external forces (magical enhancement/curses). This is not flawed, or complex, or confusing. The vanilla content ...

Re: Fix The Lady Lover and Steed Birthsigns
I think options are fine when what you choose between has to be implemented anyway. Such as a value of a variable in a formula, but not the option to choose a different formula. Another example is ownership of items, the cursor, and color of the cursor, they all have to be implemented: do you want o...

Re: Option for unstackable potions.
I was wondering if it is possible in OpenMW to implement an option for disabling potion effect stacking. Drinking a potion of the same effect will nullify the other instead of making the effect two times stronger(as it is in vanilla). I know that there are a lot of people who like to exploit some o...

Re: List of (other) FOSS game engine replacement projects
I got a site working with sortable elements -> https://abelsromero.gitlab.io/foss-game-engines/projects/projects/ 99% the site is still the demo and some dirty tests, but could be a beginning. The data is stored as YAML (also supported toml, json) https://gitlab.com/abelsromero/foss-game-engines/bl...

Re: New to OpenMW and Modding
Well I've got purple trees, purple dragon flowers, missing tree meshes, and some floating mushrooms that should be attached to logs and tree meshes. I would like to get rid of some of the mods and test to see which ones are causing issues. How would I go about reinstalling the original vanilla text...

Well, it does in Emacs, but the tables on GitHub/Lab are static.Thunderforge wrote: ↑14 Sep 2018, 20:01 I don't suppose it also allows for making columns sortable? Might be nice to sort by name, license, or language.

Yes it can.Thunderforge wrote: ↑14 Sep 2018, 19:14 Can Markdown do tables? That might be a nicer way to organize things.

Re: Modding-OpenMW.com -- mod categories/tagging
I'd like to solicit some feedback about the current category/tag scheme I've got on the website. There are currently two major problems that I see or others have pointed out: 1. The tags in particular are really subjective. I did struggle with what tags should go on what mods, what I have now can c...

Re: Modding-OpenMW.com -- FOSSing the site code
1. How to host the code (self-hosted Gitea or similar, Github, Gitlab, etc) 2. How to handle merge requests and releases 3. How to decide the overall future of the website 1. The Winds seems to be blowing towards GitLab for these kinds of projects right now, and that doesn't sound bad to me. 2. I g...
