Re: OpenMW 0.48.0

Hey guys, I have tested the Linux built RC11. Works great, however three mods are not working anymore, I guess they need an update right? - TES3A-Abecean-Isles-20032023 complains about different esm masterfile missing, but did not before. More likely it is not configured properly on your setup. Thi...

Re: OpenMW 0.48.0

I think they'd already said 0.48 was worse than 0.47, so there's a chance it's down to us changing a default setting (in which case, they can change it) or us doing more processing than before (in which case, there's not much we can do). I saw only a post where TS had issues with RC7, but RC8 fixed...

Re: OpenMW 0.48.0

ATA SAMSUNG HD642JJ SCSI Disk Device That's an ancient device. More likely it causes your stuttering (see my post about sounds loading). I'd suggest to check the drive for SMART errors (e.g. via HDDScan) and run a defragmentation at least. Or better to migrate to any SATA SSD. Also you can try to i...

Are you referring to the 'Build nav mesh for world geometry' checkbox under the Game Mechanics tab?
I refer to the "Build" button under "Data -> Navigation Mesh Cache" tab.

Re: OpenMW 0.48.0

RAM 6.00 - 64-bit operating system - Intel(R) Core(TM)2Quad CPU Q9400 @ 2.66GHz Since you use a 15yo hardware, I'd suggest you to do such things: 1. Disable shadows 2. Disable water shader if you use it 3. Generate a navmesh cache via launcher, or completely disable navmeshes via settings.cfg 4. In...

Amgarrak wrote: 06 Jul 2023, 07:50 Please tell me do you have a 32-bit OpenMW, it just worked better for me than 64-bit?
OpenMW does not support 32-bit binaries since 0.47.
