I know of one mod that does conflict with multimark FIMs Better Spell Effects

version 1 doesn't conflict with MultimarkOMW, version 2 does.

161 is the internal version number used by upstream released osg 3.6.5 .

The openmw osg fork also reports as osg 3.6.5 in openmw.log , but uses 162 as internal version,
osg 3.6.4 used 160 .

I have encountered the same and found very few people in ghostgate do have the 'inside the ghostfence' topic. atm lua support is only available in trunk versions of openmw (sometimes called nightlies) .

I think tes3mp has it's own lua implementation, but that's not compatible with openmw.
(maybe tes3mp will support openmw lua when it bases of 0.48 in the near future) .

The documentation doesn't have an overview of the structure used for lua mods , but carefully reading it I think I understand which should go where.

Put Player.omwscripts in LuaMods folder .

use C:\Users\someone\Documents\My Games\OpenMW\data2\LuaMods as data path in openmw.cfg

I doubt linking ffmpeg libs statically is a good idea. Something on your system leads to cmake preferring ffmpeg 5 if both 4.4 and 5 are present. TL;DR : the nightlies are 0.48 versions The ubuntu ppa and archlinux aur development versions do indeed list 0.47 as version number, but followed by a commit or date tag. If you start them and look at the load/save etc opening screen, you'll notice it shows 0.48 . The real openmw version is in CMake...

The file would be called player.lua located in folder my_lua_mod, subfolder example .

The my_lua_mod folder can be created everywhere you have full access, but it helps to use descriptive names.

I wouldn't put it under data1 but use something else.

3.6 is the default branch, so you don't need to specifiy a branch to get it. Does git clone https://github.com/OpenMW/osg.git work ?
