Re: Mod Manager Features & Functionality
Maybe someone should build a openmwmodpacksdl.onion One idea i have been playing with is enabling bittorrent support in the mod manager, although if this ever did happen it would be waaaaay later down the line. When it comes to broken / taken down download links, authentication with 3rd parties etc ...

Re: Mod Manager Features & Functionality
If you're still working on this friend I am still working on this :) I have one singular feature that I crave more than any other. The ability for the mod manager to take a list of commands that would set up a specific modded environment, and then execute them to get to that environment. So this wo...

Re: Lysol's normal mapped texture packs
Just tried out both texture packs and they look great! It's awesome to see OpenMW tailored mods, Do you plan on normal mapping most areas of the game? It would be awesome to see a high-res normal mapped terrain and rocks replacers, they may seem dull but the ground and rocks are in most places you v...

Re: Mod Manager Features & Functionality
Thank you for pointing this out, i had suspected it worked like this but never tested it, that's good to know.DestinedToDie wrote:OpenMW.cfg has a load order for these folders. Whichever folder with ExampleTexture.dds is the last is the one that gets used.

Re: Mod Manager Features & Functionality
Support for multiple data folders & data folder load ordering. (Kind of like BAIN in Wrye Bash) I am not familiar with BAIN in Wrye Bash, at the moment the mod manager will generate a list of data files and data directories based off of your enabled mods, the main game data file and data direct...

Re: Mod Manager Features & Functionality
I'll be sure to upload it to github when it's in a fully usable state (although it'll probably have a few bugs :o ). I've made some progress with the GUI for installing mods, some screens can be seen here: https://imgur.com/a/8wVFS They show the various steps, as well as the 'automatic' mod enumerat...

Re: Mod Manager Features & Functionality
That is a great idea, i'll have to look into how OpenMW handles saves and how that fits in to the mod manager. My main goal at the moment is to get all the basics working and stable, then build in some integration for downloading mods from nexus and other sites. I'm working on a GUI at the moment fo...

Re: Mod Manager Features & Functionality
So, i've spent ~4 days on this over the past few weeks. As you can imagine it's far from being usable but the 'core' functionality seems to be working ok. It can work with multiple versions of the OpenMW engine, theoretically including forks as long as they don't differ too drastically from OpenMW o...

Re: Mod Manager Features & Functionality
Does Mod Organizer work on linux though? Really an OpenMW Mod Manager needs to run on Linux, Mac and Windows like OpenMW does.

Re: Mod Manager Features & Functionality
I'd like something pretty much exactly like Mod Organizer, but with mods being immutable within the VFS. Can you go into more detail on this? One thing i've been thinking about is how to identify mods when they are packaged up by different people. You can't just search for .esp's as some mods are t...
