Re: Optional Vanilla Water Shader
Looks exactly like the vanilla MW shader to me. Impressive!

Re: OpenMW-launcher just got an advanced settings menu
Right. I think I was still using the release version. After removing it via package manager and building again, it works now. Wow, that was rather stupid. Well, a lifetime of Windows still has its effect on me...

Re: OpenMW-launcher just got an advanced settings menu
How can I get that menu in Ubuntu? I built from source, after cloning from https://github.com/OpenMW/openmw.

Re: Are there still Morrowind formulae that need to be reverse engineered?
Well, seems like everyone except me has that impression. I'll go check it out as soon as I find the time.

Re: Principles and Vision
Yeah, feature requests that are not suggestions as to how to solve a bug don't belong in the big reports section. I totally agree. Okay, thanks for the feedback. If you think such a list may actually be of use to the devs, then I'll stick a pin in it and come back to compiling it once it makes sense...

Re: Principles and Vision
Fine by me for how things are right now. But there are several cases for which I think there are better options. One such case is, if either you or scrawl, or both of you quit at some point. I hope that doesn't happen, but I've seen it before, especially at the end of a project (phase). Another case...

Re: Are there still Morrowind formulae that need to be reverse engineered?
Well, strength is the governing attribute to acrobatics, right? Usually they do have an effect. I'm 99.8% sure that strength affects jumping height in vanilla MW. I frequently used Fortify Strength as an enchantment to increase my jumping height. As soon as I get back to a Windows machine, I'll chec...

Re: Principles and Vision
As I said, it should be non-binding, because the final decision should and will always be up to the people doing the work. The question is how we organise the input from non-developers and ones who aren't you and scrawl. I am eternally grateful for all you've done and are still doing. I only think o...

Re: Principles and Vision
I want to thank you, nwah, for this thread, because I think it's asking legitimate and important questions. I don't agree with retaining compatibility with Morrowind in the same way, but that has been said already. Now, currently this thread seems to be for comparing visions for post 1.0 and that's ...
