Re: Punibi Yahaz keeps falling down instead of staying on platform
Most of the idle animation sliding issues were reduced a lot after openmw switched to double precision for boost. I do remember there was a different issue with punibi yahaz though. I can't find the issue/ commit / MR about it , but digging in my memory : Some actors were postioned by the engine bef...

[wiki] Development Environment Setup - minor issues
I can't find a forum section related to openmw wiki, general devlopment looks to best fit for this topic. https://wiki.openmw.org/index.php?title=Development_Environment_Setup - boost is not mentioned in Third-Party Libraries and Tools . It is mentioned in some commands in sections like 3.1.2.2 , li...

Re: Observations on 0.48 RC1
IIRC there used to be generic Linux builds of the "nightlies" available from the Downloads page, but they aren't there now. My attempts to compile from source have not gone well, so without those binaries I really can't test the current development build. For ubuntu there's a ppa with lat...

Re: How do I deal with version conflicts between operating systems?
luxtorpeda has 3 options for openmw : OpenMW OpenMW (Latest) openmw-tes3mp OpenMW (Latest) gives you a build of openmw master development tree, currently 0.48 . There have been several changes in the save-format recently and 0.47 can't handle saves from 0.48 . Try choosing the first option in luxtor...

Re: OpenMW 0.48 bug? - Arkngthad - Centurion Spheres and Ghosts Don't Attack
openmw 0.48 is a moving target that tends to get new commits almost every day, which revision are you encountering this with ? Centurion Spheres & ghosts should only be found on Land's Blood Gallery and Deep Ore Passage , if you see them on higher levels something is wrong (or changed by a mod )...

Re: Help with OpenMW Launcher (zestererś Shaders)
read up on luxtorpeda and they do offer a "openmw (latest)' build for use on steam/linux . I just build https://gitlab.com/OpenMW/openmw/-/commit/a62b16df5d3eb89319042f1d1678e8b4bb6f80f7 and checked. Added a folder in the datadirectories tab with a small mod in it. selected it and the tooltip s...

Re: Help with OpenMW Launcher (zestererś Shaders)
'm using OpenMW development (e71973c97f), from Steam, on a Linux system (Debian 11) by using Proton together with the compatibility tool Luxtorpeda. That sounds like a trunk build, but I can't find commit e71973c97f . Where did you find this version ? You are aware that openmw runs native on linux ?

Re: how do I edit the dependencies on a omwaddon file with OpenMW-CS?
Don't think I ever tried to change depeendencies, but I have set them for new addons. You need to do this on the Open screen where you select the gamefile (usually morrowind.esm) BEFORE you enter the gui. It shows a list with all addons found in your openmw.cfg and allows to select / deselect them. ...
