Re: Water Rendering
So is water rendering going to be in, then, for 0.13.0 if Scrawl does the cmake stuff?

FAQ
Hey, I just gave the FAQ a quick read through and I just wanted to say that it's very well done. I especially like the history about the switch from D to C++ and that you can use the engine for more than just Morrowind, but for things like total conversions. This is all very good stuff that people n...

Re: Terrain
Oh, I see, that's what you're waiting for. That's totally understandable to wait for 0.13.0. If you want to get terrain out before August, though, you might have to go with an RC first, because they definitely aren't releasing the actual 1.8 until at least August 27th. At least. Update March 11th: S...

Re: Terrain
Ogre3d 1.8 is probably not going to be out until after this year's Google Summer of Code and that's not going to end until August 27th when the event's results are announced for each project. So Ogre3d 1.8, thus, won't be released until sometime after August 27th (excluding further release candidate...

Re: OpenMW Launcher
If you find fiddling around with the Windows console too annoying, you could also redirect the output streams into files. This can be done without touching the source. Actually, I don't, personally, I just think lazy people might not know that you can select and copy text from a windows console. Mi...

Re: OpenMW Launcher
After thinking about it, maybe saving a copy all of the console contents to a .log file in the OpenMW directory every time it ran would be a good idea. After all, trying to copy something out of a Windows command window is a pain in the ass.
Could be helpful in debugging stuff later.

Re: OpenMW Launcher
Alright, point taken on the play and close buttons. I still don't like it and it would make me happier if you could remove the [_][R][X] buttons, but that would be way more difficult, me thinks, so whatevs. Also, pvdk, I think after having some issues with the launcher I realized the black console w...

Re: OpenMW Launcher config file not working properly
Ok, here's what I currently have. Running the omwlauncher.exe gives this in the console: c:\Program Files\OpenMW 0.12.0>omwlauncher.exe Loading config file: ./openmw.cfg... done. c:\Program Files\OpenMW 0.12.0> It crashes after "done". Like I said earlier there wasn't really a problem with...

Re: OpenMW Launcher config file not working properly
trikorder: I tried launching OpenMW immediately when I installed it without touching the cfg file. That should have worked. Then I deleted it just momentarily out of curiosity if OpenMW would create a new one (WHICH IT SHOULD DO BTW). Zini: Don't worry, changing permissions did nothing but waste my ...
