Re: OpenMW leveled list fixer - v1.0 released!

I too like Python better, than C++, I'm not looking to you to port your code to C++. I'm just saying, it's a better strategy in the long term.

Re: OpenMW leveled list fixer - v1.0 released!

Porting to C++ using OpenMW API instead of parsing raw .esp data should be easier to maintain in long term perspective, as .omwaddon format is gonna change (probably, drastically) post-1.0.

Re: OpenMW leveled list fixer - v1.0 released!

Does OpenMW have API for leveled lists? If so, then it might could be easier and cleaner to rewrite this in C++, rather than port the launcher to Python.

Re: Changing Character Appearance

Haven't encountered such outrageous bugs, TBH. Unless you did `enableracemenu` more than once per session, it worked OKish.

The general recommendation seems to be to use 'enableracemenu' on the console. But in OpenMW this resets the character to level 1 no matter what.
That's a bug, I guess.

Re: Poll: Quickload behavior

Despite not having a strong opinion, I voted for vanilla behavior. Maybe, you could implement a "Continue" main menu option to load the latest save in addition to that (shouldn't be too hard, as I understand).

Can't find the script from esm-files either, but I don't have proper search tools anyway.

Re: Crime System

Ordinators attacking PC, if they greet 'em while wearing Indoril armor, is fully scripted, there's no need to refer it in OpenMW code.

security over functionality any time
To be honest, I don't think there's so much functionality in executing native code, aside from rather superficial things like that discord integration and not superficial things like prototyping stuff. Lua support, on the other hand, would be nice, IMHO.

Does it only recognize mods, installed with it?
