Re: OpenMW 0.46.0

Since it complains about the missing libboost_system.so.1.69.0 I assume that you tried to execute the binaries directly. You have to run the included shell scripts (the files without the x86_64 suffix) as those set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to the directory with the libraries. You can also just create a file...

You mean the generic Linux RC build correct?
This one that K1ll linked here while ago.

Re: OpenMW 0.46.0

Just a note, Manjaro Linux currently carries boost-libs 1.72, whereas RC is built with 1.69. This means that OpenMW RC1 doesn't run (libboost_system.so.1.69.0 ... No such file or directory). I have Qt5 installed, but I tested to install also Qt4 and I get the error "Cannot load library icui18n: (icu...

Re: Procedural generation based on land terrain texture grid

This could be probably developed further into real-time seed-based object generation, removing the need to store all the instance data to hard drive. There's no reason why it couldn't work along with batching implementations, but there's no batching at the moment.

Can this feature generates grass based on the terrain type? Like instantaneous grass for Morrowind vanilla and mods?
Yes, that's exactly what it's for. I mostly use it to generate forests, grass, random rocks etc. It probably takes a while to tune the settings to get best results though.

Re: Procedural generation based on land terrain texture grid

Rebased the procgenreferencestool branch on latest master https://github.com/unelsson/openmw/tree/procgenreferencestool . - fixed quat rotations and height interpolations, so that generated objects now won't hover and may follow land shapes - rebasing allows land editing features in this branch, as ...

Re: 3D editing

Camera movement and object movement are different things. For mouse inputs, there is a base logic: Primary edit, default: RMB Secondary edit, default: Ctrl + RMB Primary select, default: MMB Secondary select, default: Ctrl + RMB Each of these may have different function in different editmodes. For t...

Re: -TESTERS NEEDED- for OpenCS Terrain Editing

ArashiAganawa, cool! I can see the temptation there :D . There really isn't a sensible limit for the height any more (I think it's somewhere around FLOAT_MAX, 3.40282e+38), but I can't remember what's the limit at ESM file format's very first height. Limit is in the slope steepness though, and there...

Re: -TESTERS NEEDED- for OpenCS Terrain Editing

Oh btw, terrain editing is now merged in master, so please, everyone, test it as much as possible before 0.46. All bugs should be reported!
