Re: My first texture replacement. [Updated]
This texture is fantastic. Because of this, and the work from Lysol and Remiros, I've uninstalled all my other texture packs, (Aside from Darknut's Dwemer Ruins textures, which will be uninstalled when someones' work here reaches the dwemer stuff) and am taking great pleasure at seeing the visuals i...

Allow a local resources directory to override the system dir
Hi, currently with an openmw git build on linux (From 2016-06-17), When you drop files in $HOME/.local/share/openmw/resources/mygui, everything in /usr/share/games/openmw/resources/mygui takes precedence. I was expecting the local directory to override the files in the system level directory, based ...

Re: Player character slots
What happens when I create New game? I started playing Oblivion but I'm now stuck because I added a house mod with crafting, cooking, fishing etc functionality for my daughter. I cannot continue playing. I don't know if I loose the current game, if I would create new game, new char, for myself. Ope...

Re: Native Controller Support but no Xbox UI?
I've been playing OpenMW with my DualShock 4 lately. I started with Morrowind on the XBox in yesteryear, and my opinion is that the elements of the GUI are just fine graphically, my personal wishlist for the controller interface would be: More binding options, including binding button combinations a...

Re: Way to Contact Xandaros regarding Uvirith's Legacy Testi
Hello All! I've done a lot of testing for Stuporstar, who is in the process of trying to make Uvirith's Legacy OpenMW compatible. I am in the process of trying to form a semi-itemized list of what features work and what do not, and noticed that the user "Xandaros" has already done some te...

Re: Where is the project at with normals/parallax?
OpenMW is not a mod or a game, dammit. People on this forum need to stop acting like this needs saying. So just because OpenMW is an engine that supports normal mapping, that somehow means I shouldn't even consider the likelihood of actually seeing that feature get used? If the eventuality of playi...

Re: Lysol's normal mapped texture packs
I can confirm that each data directory listed in openmw.cfg can have a Textures/ or textures/ directory (and this doesn't have to be consistent from data directory to data directory) This works just fine in OpenMW under Linux.

Re: OK to send in a bug fix submission?
About the files showing all the lines as modified, it's probably a Windows line endings or something like that. Anyway, I seem to have been able to work around it. I expect that you have figured out the root of your problem. My recommendation would be to use notepad++ to compare line endings and co...
