Thanks for the reply, I know it was something stupidly easy. Those problems you're seeing are probably from me not being the greatest at 3D modeling yet as I saved that as a .blend file in 2.77 and just opened it in 2.49.
But hey, any progress is good progress.

Re: .nif export question
I made a kris model really quick so I could test out nifscope and see how it looks in morrowind. I believe I correctly UV mapped it, but I can't seem to get it to export as a .nif even when I follow the instructions. I'm not really sure where I went wrong or what's happening, I'm pretty sure whateve...

I think this is a very good idea.

Re: .nif export question
I get it know, but I sort of fucked up the first time around by splitting my mesh into 3 different objects so I could cut some corners while UV mapping. And to be completely frank, my first attempt wasn't all that good. I'm thinking about going for a polynesian vibe for the knife anyway, maybe somet...

.nif export question
I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around Blender 2.49 and I've been looking for workarounds. Someone told me that I could export my mesh as a .obj file and then import it into nifscope, but that some data wouldn't be transfered. Since I'm only interested at this point in making weapons and oth...

Re: OpenMW Example Suite - Active Development Notice
Never mind, I accidentally had the Appdata folder hidden for some reason.

Re: OpenMW Example Suite - Active Development Notice
You can use the mirror modifier to achieve perfect symmetry. Also saves you from doing twice the amount of work. Tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LwQO_tWTAQ There is some setup required before you mirror your object, but you can skip to 4:37 if you want to get straight to the mirroring pa...

Re: OpenMW Example Suite - Active Development Notice
No theme as of yet. I was in favor of a Cthulhu-like theme. Some others have their own vision. But in the end someone needs to actually pick up the Example Suite and start making models instead of making up stories and themes. I think it´s fair to give that first person the freedom to use whatever ...

Re: OpenMW Example Suite - Active Development Notice
I have a few questions I'd like to ask if that's okay. How prevalent are exterior or exterior cells going to be? Will the interiors of buildings, caves, etc be completely in exterior cells, or will almost every single one have an interior cell? OpenMW has made great strides in optimization and consi...

Re: Blacksmith, don't know if I'd be any use to the team
No problem, I'm currently fucking around in blender trying to remember how I did anything with it. I'm making some headway and when I can make something presentable I'll probably chip in with with the OpenMW game demo. Maybe make some of the easy miscellaneous objects that they need like the driftwo...
