These are already defined that way in default config and so would be bogus in user config.

yeah i'm fully aware of that, but my issue is it closes immediately after opening, i can see the text in the window for a split second and then it closes. I've also tried converting it to a .bat from .exe but that didn't change anything. This doesn't happen with the windows CMD so i'm not sure what...

Since 0.37.0 version OpenMW uses its own file system for data directories. You need to go deeper? MO uses a virtual file system that is kind of emulated when you launch an executable via its interface. IKR. I meant that you do not need MO in case of Morrowind if OpenMW has the same native functiona...
