Re: OpenMW 0.29.0

Thanks, but my head still aches after reading that. I'm starting to remember why I stopped writing code many moons ago.

Kicked off the build but now on the way to work. Will report back later in the evening.

Re: OpenMW 0.29.0

Need help from C++ experts. On Windows x86 release build only (or relwithdebinfo), in PhysicActor::PhysicActor() constructor, mBoxRotationInverse = btQuaternion(inverse.x, inverse.y, inverse.z,inverse.w); mBoxRotationInverse is not initialised. The program does not step into btQuaternion() to initia...

Re: OpenMW 0.29.0

The save and load are working most perfectly. But I can´t overwrite a preexistent savegame. New bug? (Win 7, 64 bits). I can confirm this issue, I'll have a look now. Rather than polluting this forum, I'll raise a bug. http://bugs.openmw.org/issues/1184 raised. My x86 release build refuses to run (...

Re: OpenMW 0.29.0

Ok, [edited out silly comment] I'll report back after testing.

Yep, that worked.

I've not tested x64 yet.

Re: OpenMW 0.29.0

Do you want me to try to hack another copy constructor in Ogre? If so it will have be later this evening, need to go to work soon. Is there a memcpy() equivalent in C++?

Re: OpenMW 0.29.0

Strange, the same thing happens. When the temporary vector data is destroyed, the data inside image (which is passed in by reference) is also trashed.

EDIT: I verified that my debug build has no optimisations enabled

Re: OpenMW 0.29.0

If my rambling and ranting commentary is annoying please do call out. Anyway the screenshot image is wiped out between these two lines in RenderingManager::screenshot(): mRendering.getCamera()->setAspectRatio(oldAspect); } One of the destructors probably. I don't know enough C++ to pinpoint what is ...

I'm very sorry but can make no guarantee that I will be able to make a release commentary until the end of next week. I'll sure as hell try.
At this rate of progress it may take longer than that to get 0.29 out ;)

Re: OpenMW 0.29.0

I've got both x64 and x32 on debugger. The 32bit one doesn't have any data in the buffer by the time encode() is called.

The 32bit one's world.screenshot() call does not produce a screenshot. Need to step through that one.
