Re: Bound Weapons Expiry Desired Behavior

Would be cool to have the bound weapon "fade out" (lower the opacity) quickly when the time expires, and then, when the weapon is no longer bound, play the equip animation for the previously equipped weapon.

This probably makes more sense with Lua scripts though I guess?

Re: Application with a feature to add: AzimuthFE

Welcome! I take it you found the Development Checklist then? I guess psi, capo, akortunov or anyoldname3 could help you out with the gitlab stuff. Neat feature! My guess is unfortunately that a merge request with that feature will not be accepted since there is a new scripting system in the planning...

Re: Resolution Not Saved

Hello and sorry that you haven't received any replies yet. I take it you run windows? Sounds like some kind of writing permissions issue. Running as an admin is wrong though, and it should never be required. So don't do that. Settings should not be read-only either. Are you running in borderless win...

Re: OpenMW 0.46.0

I take no responsibility for the changelog. It's way too well written to have had anything to do with me. Anyway, my take on the most hype-friendly features for the video: The neat features akortunov has implemented (herbalism, weapon and shield holstering, NiSwitch (glow in the dahrk support) etc),...

Through the calm before the storm...

Hello and welcome back for another look at new and upcoming features in OpenMW! There's a lot to talk about, so let's dive in! Perry Hugh has continued his work on better gamepad support . You may have heard about OpenMW's keyboard navigation feature which makes it possible to navigate (at least par...

Re: OpenMW 0.46.0

Whoah! Haha, this truly brings some nostalgic feelings. Welcome back! :) Others should clarify instead, but whatever, here's my take on the situation: Zini hasn't returned yet, so the release process isn't really as structured as it used to. But 0.46.0 is huge already and it kind of seems we've fina...

Maybe we can get a classic video dude like WeirdSexy to do it? Has anyone seen him around the ES community? Edit: Sent him a message.
Did you get a reply?

Great idea. If he can't, then I think I saw some guy volunteering to do it on Discord.

Re: OpenMW 0.46.0

Hey guys! To be honest, I wouldn't give the videos a chance - the deadline for my master thesis is Friday before Christmas... I went through the list of resolved issues about two weeks ago, but I don't even have the time and the nerves to maintain our human-readable change log, much less produce tw...

Re: OpenMW 0.46.0

I think we should give the video a chance, but we need a deadline. As soon as we get close to the RC phase, we should contact Atahualpa and say "We need videos, but if you can't get them done within two weeks, we'll release without them".
