Re: Remove MyGUI from codebase

To be honest, I think it best to wait until it gets out of PPA and into the standard Ubuntu distribution. I hope that it is included in precise pangolin which is expected to drop in April 26th. The less the user has to do the better. Then we can modify the deb (cmake) to include the dependency. I do...

Re: PR Team for OpenMW

I actually am in a good position to do videos for OpenMW, excepting 2 things: I'd need to find time, and I'd need someone to get a .deb to me, as I am pretty helpless when it comes to compiling things... Our new build automation should help with that? According to Zini, once 'alpha' status is a go ...

Re: OpenMW 0.12.0

Once these issues are resolved, I would like to ask all the packagers to create a package for internal testing and upload them to their github account. Re: MWRender slowdown

When the release 0.12 is out the door, can we also release a list of libraries to compile against for the package maintainers? I would hate to make a release using the wrong/buggy libraries.

Zini wrote:Absolutely.

Well, actually building was never an issue, since right from the beginning we had more developers working on Linux than on any other platform. What we meant was packaging. Luckily we found a very competent (and so far also reliable) packager a while back.
Yay! ;)

Re: OpenMW 0.12.0

Just a heads up, I'll be out for a few weeks (on holiday). No worries, I will be back. I want to see OpenMW succeed. Cheers!

For some it is finals and for others skyrim... or they are just too "relaxed" to code on jagertee or glühwein. ;)

Re: 0.11.1 Release

I am pro-provide-link and state that it is a hard dependancy. TGZ people should either compile their own or rip out the contents of the deb package. Deb users should use the getdeb version and provide a link. RPM users should use something like rpmfind or do what the TGZ people do. My 2 euro cents...
