Re: Interior too dark in openmw 0.35.0

I think about 99% of monitors are not calibrated, I check mine every month as I do a lot of photograph work and use icm files to colour profile my monitor, print and paper, from raevol's link my monitor is spot on but I still find some interiors to dark, I miss the gamma slider. Perhaps with osg we ...

Re: OpenMW 0.35.1

<I can't seem to get this to work? What report window? The one you get after File -> Verify?> Pull request with fix . But I did not find a way to get it to work in the release version, so this feature won't be in the video I suppose. This works for me, from the report page double click a script wit...

Re: reference errors

Does this mean that every reference needs to have a cell reference? Or this the message just a warning? Many of the mods that have long lists of reference errors listed in validation check seem to 'mostly' work in OpenMW.

reference errors

I have noticed since updating to 0.35.1 I now get hundreds of validation errors when checking mods. The are all reference is referencing object from non existing cell, and the mods do not have any reference cell named for many references.

Is this an error in OpenMW-CS validation or errors in mods?

Re: Ashes of Apocalypse

It is probably best if one person keeps the master esm and other testers provide feedback to update it, I would think. Perhaps you have a better suggestion though? I am also thinking it may be an idea to have a separate wiki page for TC's eventually, not exactly like the Mod status page but giving a...

Re: Some mods don't work.

I found the slaves mod on Nexus, all it does is add a topic and a dialogue so it should work. I cannot test it in OpenMW-CS as dialogues are not yet implemented. Do you get any error messages in the error log, especially connected with 'go free' topic?

Re: Some mods don't work.

This is the reason we have the wiki page to track known working and none working mods. You are welcome to add reports about mod status, preferably also finding exactly why the mod seems to fail and adding a bug report so that a dev will get around to fixing it. If you prefer I can add the details as...

Re: Advice for planning a new game

Quite a lot has changed but not much more functionality has been added.

As Zini said testing is slow, perhaps due to the message about corrupting files on the start page, maybe making the message a little more friendly might encourage testers to try OpenMW-CS, without the risk of being mocked.

Re: Wiki page for Mods

I have been leaving retesting to the original tester, I am busy enough testing new stuff and retesting my own, I'll add a retest needed sign, I do not think removing the mod from the list is good as we lose any details of what has been tested. Perhaps we could ask testers to add their nick to the te...
