Re: Xbox UI!
There are some outstanding issues with the current controller implementation. Notably, the game doesn't actually pull in any of the data from the gamecontrollerdb.txt file ( https://github.com/OpenMW/openmw/blob/master/files/gamecontrollerdb.txt ) because it expects it to be called gamecontrollerdb....

Re: Xbox UI!
Whever I use a non-vertical mouse for more than a few hours my forearm starts hurting like crazy, and vertical mice aren't all that great for games, so I'm in favor of this. I wish I could help but I don't have the time. Linear algebra is kicking my butt :). Maybe this summer? Assuming that pull req...

OpenMW profiling data
The weekly updates mentioned optimization so I decided to profile the latest nightly build of OpenMW with AMD GPU PerfStudio 2. I was using the OpenGL rendering mode, if that makes a difference. Interesting results. For the scene right after I go through the trap door and get outside for the first t...

Re: OS X development environment setup manual
I had a mac to run Unibeast on to get my bootable USB drive, so I don't think I can help with the part of the setup where you'd need a VM. I've heard people having success with VMware though.

Re: OS X development environment setup manual
Yeah I used the defaults. BTW this is a hackintosh, but I don't think that should matter.
